Rabat: Computer Experts Vindicated... 15-Year Prison Sentence in Absentia for Jirando on Terrorism Charges

Rabat – The predictions of the computer experts association regarding the involvement of the individual named Hicham Jirando in terrorist activities have been vindicated. The Rabat Court of Appeal issued a 15-year prison sentence in absentia against him today, Monday, May 8th. This verdict follows the complaint filed against him by Najim Bensaami, the former Chief Prosecutor at the Casablanca Court of Appeal.

Reliable sources confirmed that Jirando’s conviction came after his prosecution by the body in charge of the case in the Criminal Court of First Instance on serious charges, including “forming a terrorist gang to prepare and commit terrorist acts within a collective project aimed at seriously undermining public order through intimidation, threats, and violence, and inciting and persuading others to commit terrorist acts.”

It is worth noting that the computer experts association had previously indicated the existence of strong digital evidence incriminating Jirando and his involvement in online terrorist activities, which bolstered expectations of his conviction.

With this ruling issued by the court, justice has been served at the initial stage of the proceedings, pending the subsequent phases of litigation. This verdict is considered a significant step in the pursuit of those involved in terrorism cases and ensuring public safety.
